Built to Order – Final Sale. This island is custom built for you, using the grill, finishes, and options you choose. Because it's a final sale, it can't be returned. Nothing is built until you review and sign your final order. Items that arrive damaged or defective are still covered.
How long will it take? Plan on about 3 to 4 weeks from your order to your driveway. Cal Flame builds your island in California in about 5 business days, crates it and ships it 2 to 3 days later, and freight delivery takes about 7 to 10 business days. Once you confirm your order, we'll email you your build and ship dates, and we'll send your tracking number the day it leaves.
Delivery day: Shipping is free: we include curbside freight delivery to the lower 48 states. The freight carrier will call you to schedule a delivery window, and the driver lowers the crate to the end of your driveway. Please plan on two or more people, or an installer, to move it into place. We don't install, but local installers and contractors can handle placement and hookup.

At 126 inches wide, this one-piece island gives you a premium built-in grill, a raised bar for guests, and plenty of counter space for prep and serving, all in one finished unit that arrives ready to set in place and connect.

How Your Island Comes Together
Step 1. Choose your grill. Your island comes with the Cal Flame P4 4 burner grill. You can upgrade to the P5, either convection model, or the Top Gun.
Step 2. Choose your finishes. Pick your base (Standard Stucco, Ameristone Stucco, or Cultured Stone) and your countertop (Porcelain Tile or Natural Stone Tile). Then pick your colors from the swatches above.
Step 3. Make it yours. Add only what you will actually use: a side burner, doors and drawers, a sink, a refrigerator or beer tap, lighting, a sound system, and more. Every upgrade shows its price, so you always know your total.
Step 4. We review it together. After you order, we go over every choice with you, one by one, to make sure it all fits your space and works together. Nothing is built until you confirm.
Step 5. Cal Flame builds it, and we deliver it. Your island is built in about 5 business days, crated, and shipped by freight to your driveway, free anywhere in the lower 48. Plan on 3 to 4 weeks from your confirmation to delivery day.

Every La Jolla starts with a Cal Flame built-in grill, and you can choose the one that fits how you cook, from the standard P4 up to convection models and the Top Gun. Cal Flame grills feature their removable V-shaped grates, designed to hold in heat and keep smaller foods from falling through, and independent burner knobs with a patented Cal Flame design. Cal Flame also rates its grills at about 25% more grilling space than comparable grills from other makers.

I've cooked for a restaurant crowd, and Jenelle and I cook outside every weekend. Here's how I'd choose.

For most families: the P4 that comes with the island is plenty of grill. Stainless steel burners, a rotisserie, lights, a griddle tray, a smoker box, and a cover are already included.

You regularly cook for a crowd: go to 5 burners with the P5. The extra burner lets you keep one side searing hot and the other side low for slower cooking.

You cook thick steaks, whole birds, and roasts and want them even all the way through: pick one of the Convection grills.

You want the best Cal Flame makes: that's the Top Gun, with the window in the hood and the lighted knobs.

Watching the budget: the G4 costs less, but keep in mind its porcelain coated burners carry a 1 year warranty, compared to 10 years on the stainless steel burners in every other grill here.
